My main complaint with Humana is that they don't pay my doctor. I am a former medical biller and I know how to read the Explanation of Benefits.

When I discovered my doctor was not being paid, it made me very angry. He goes to school for 7-10 years and does not get paid? What is up with that? I was lucky, I turned 65 in May and I was able to dump them.

Now I am working on finding new insurance for my husband. Another complaint I have is with the pharmacy. I called in several refills for my husband and I spoke to a human being. When they had not arrived one week later, I called to check on them only to find they had no refills listed for my husband.

This really made me angry because he was out of one of his blood clot medicines.

You just can't trust anybody anymore. We can't wait to get rid of them.
