Humana is a rip off . To give you a example , they were paying for my prescriptions at a marginal rate , I still had to pay some out of pocket costs , which I understand and had no problem with.

Then all of sudden they refused to pay anything . Sent me a letter telling me to either get a generic brand or they would refuse to pay for anything . I refused their demands telling this is what me and my physician had found was the best prescriptions for me . They left me paying full costs until I got rid of them and chose a different insurance provider .

When I sent a complaint to Medicare they finally contacted me questioning me about the matter then said they would investigate the situation and possibly settle everything . After three weeks they called and said that was my designated time to pay extra costs out of pocket . I have never had before this time pay full costs . Needless to say I called them very horrible words before hanging up .

I urge everyone to definitely find some other insurance companies . Humana it’s worth the costs and will rip you off !

PROVIDER COMPLAINT

LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AND COMPREHENSION FOR A CANCER PATIENT WITH OUT OF NETWORK BENEFITS. WAS ON THE PHONE FOR OVER AN HOUR BEING REFERRED BACK AND FORTH TO HUMANA THEN HEALTH HELP FOR A SIMPLE VERBAL UNDERSTANDING. AN INDIAN REP WHO REFERRED TO HIMSELF AS ELJAEY EVEN HUNG UP ON ME.

Tisioners, or I even had one office tell me if I was currently on any pain medications or head medications they wouldnt see me. My previous Doctor retired and just left his patients hanging. So for 3 mos Ive been trying to locate a new doctor. Ive been completely out of medication, (5) which Im suppose to take daily. Ive call Humana at least 10 times requesting help for this with NO help at all. If you want an Insurance Co.

Elder abuse

I called Humana pharmacy to review the price of Lantus that because of the doughnut hole I could not afford. After three calls and talking to my doctor there was nothing they could do for me, I at no point ordered the Lantus. later that day I received an email from Humana thanking me for my order, I called Humana to make sure they were not sending me the Lantus and was assured no order was coming. Later my wife happen to check our debit card account and Humana had withdrawn 484.83 causing insufficient funds for other bills. Someone intentionally did this without my approval and making me fight to get my money returned..

Humana is not accepted with my spine and pain doctors.

I changed to Humana Gold Plus (HMO) a several months ago. I changed from United Health. Now when I go to my spine management back doctor I have to pay $129 cash each visit. If I do not pay the cash they will not see me. The Coastal Spine and Pain Center is in Network with my plan but they will not take the insurance from Humana. I pay $129 each visit and I have had this back problem for over 5 years.

Complaint

Humana does not call back. Humana "agents" have a very limited knowledge of their product. I spent 6 hours on two phone calls with them and they hung up on me 4 times. I was super polite, so why do theyj hang up? My wife had her policy cancelled in Jan. due to "non-payment", they claim. They had a false address for her. Her premium was on automatic billing with Medicare.

To see how many doctors do I have to see before I can contact Go365?

There was an internal problem with getting transferred over to Go365. I do not have their number and I am also locked out of my Humana website, because they will not accept my password. Please help me out of this problem. Thanks, Ezra West

New website/dashboard

Your new dashboard is awful. It is slow and clunky. It is also hard to maneuver from page to page. I haven't received any information on the vision plan I enrolled in. My password works on one page but not another. Please fix this.

Increasingly poor product delivery of OTC over the counter pharmacy products.

The last three shipments of OTC pharmacy products have been poorly packaged and delivered opened or broken. I recently place orders and was told that the product was not in stock weeks after the order was placed. (Don't they know what they have on hand?)

There website doesn't work. I can't reach it on Google. And the system won't allow me to create a profile.

Medications

I have been on the Medicine Anoro for my Copd for the last 6 yrs .Humana has covered it till this passed January, they told me I need to change medication cause their not going to cover it. So I did and I was in the ER 4 times in the last 7months.I had to many side effects from the new meds. Now My Doctor told them I need the Anoro now my co-pay went up to 100.00 outrageous. out its outrageousIts dollars.
