Shirley was not really helpful at all. I had Humana before with a pharmacy & food card.
I was told I had no food card because my plan does not give one for my plan, and that is not was told to me when I signed up and filled out the form to have a food card.
I need assistance with over-the-counter and food assistance. I need a representative to call me so that I can change my Humana plan to a plan that has this type of assistance.

None of the in-network oral surgeons accept my insurance. Even I called the rep, and they gave me the numbers to call.

I have since called to follow up and the issue brought satisfaction after speaking to a supvsr who promised to have it completed by 72 hours after speaking. However, i received confirmation of acceptance from my agent but
never received a copy of the card info in my email as promised.

I pay $60 monthly for this dental insurance, and when I finally submit two claims, I'm getting the runaround. Even though they say it takes 30 days to process, I'm two months out with them.
We're talking roughly $6,000. When I call, they're unprofessional and basically useless.

I haven't been able to find a dentist that accepts Humana because 'Humana doesn't pay.' I was told by an insurance representative that I can get this and acupuncture covered, but lo and behold, my in-network provider doesn't get their claims filled and is required to spend a long time filling out online forms to even be considered. The representatives are trained to lie directly to customers, and they can get away with it.
The attorney general does nothing, and Humana isn't legally obliged to answer to them.
And don't bother trying to use an FSA card online; Amazon won't accept them, and Walmart will try to trick you into paying out of pocket for 'eligible items.' They will claim it is a 'glitch.' A 'glitch' that has been going on for 8 months straight? I hope all of these people have deformed babies and their bloodlines are wiped out, along with all of the other enablers and unscrupulous deadbeats that inhabit private insurance companies.

Talked to several agents. Each one had a different take on the problem.
Simple question on coverage and my response ability could not be answered. They simply don't know what they are doing. When asked for a supervisor. Still no help plus being intentionally disconnected.
Stay away from humana.
Incompetentcy at its best. I'm dropping them in the fall.

If your dentist is listed as a Humana provider, they can’t just decide they don’t want to fill out claim forms.
