I just joined Humana part d and I wished I had looked at the reviews before I decided to join. I am having the same problem with my medication that I need every day due to a rare blood disorder.

They have denied me 3 times saying its not medically necessary even though my doctor who I've had for 8 years sent them a letter. Who are they to tell people their daily medication is not medically necessary? Isn't that up to my doctor? Humana should just be filling prescriptions ordered by the prescribing doctors and that's all.

I am finding another company, I don't care if I have to pay a penalty. I have never dealt with a company like this in my life!!
