My insurance agent and I have contacted customer service multiple time regarding a data error on my wife's account. We live in Missouri, have been receiving EOB and Claim denial letters for provider in West Virginia.
On my own I found that the West Virginia provider has a client with the same first and last name as my wife. They also have the same birth dates. How ever their middle initial is different. Their data is mixed up in the computer.
My wife is being denial benefits and receiving claim denials due to this.
Called today 5/29/19 and spent 3 hours on the phone with 2 different agents, they both said "We see the problem but we cannot not fix it, we will sent it on to IT (call log # 1000087938064 and 1000087944615)". Have heard this several times and I bet the out come will be the same as last time.
Agents also said they would call me back. Has not happened.
When comes time to renew Humana will be on my do not buy list.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered.
Humana Cons: Failure to provide coverage i pay for, Not user friendly and customer service poor.
